ABOUT US
Zeeb Healthcare Development Initiative (ZHDI) is a dedicated Nigerian non-governmental organization committed to improving healthcare delivery at the primary healthcare level. Our mission is to strengthen health systems through community engagement, capacity building, and evidence-based interventions that ensure local populations receive the quality and accessible healthcare they deserve.
With extensive experience in monitoring and evaluating primary healthcare services across Nigeria, ZHDI employs a participatory approach—actively involving communities in the assessment and enhancement of healthcare facilities. This inclusive methodology allows us to develop context-specific solutions that effectively address the unique needs of the populations we serve.
In Bayelsa State, we have collaborated closely with local health authorities and stakeholders to assess the performance of primary health centers. Our evaluations focus on critical areas such as infrastructure, service quality, availability of essential medicines, and healthcare personnel competency. Through regular monitoring visits and community engagement, we identify gaps and advocate for meaningful improvements.
Recognizing the power of collaboration, ZHDI partners with reputable national and international NGOs to leverage expertise and resources. These partnerships enable us to develop robust monitoring frameworks aligned with national standards and best practices, further enhancing the transparency and accountability of healthcare services.
At ZHDI, our commitment is to foster a healthier Nigeria through community-centered approaches, evidence-based advocacy, and strategic partnerships. We believe that by working together, we can make a tangible difference in the lives of many, ensuring sustainable improvements in primary healthcare delivery.
